It's too high especially as Southampton have no players left! Working on the basis that enough people will be hungry for their football fix after the summer break.

Ticket price for a friendly (joint training session with another club) should be nominal - say a fiver for adults and free for kids. Perhaps in itself it would be uneconomical but there would almost certainly be a long term benefit from getting some people through the gate for the first time.

It's funny how you all expect LP or whoever is running the club to put millions into it, but the moan about paying an extra few quid to watch a game. If we really want a successful team, it's time to fully support them.

Maybe the adult price should have been only a tenner, but what can you get for £15 nowadays? 2 pints and a sausage roll maybe. As a senior I'm happy to pay £10 and will most likely take a mate to see how we're faring for the kick off in August.

I don't see this game as just a kick about, the opposition are a decent team we will hopefully have 4 or 5 new signings to cast our eyes over, and it will be nice to get back into the Legends and chat with some of the fans.

Smirg Kcab et al. There is no logic in moaning about the club selling its best players, not signing experienced players and relying on youth; and then moaning about ticket prices and season tickets. The balance has to be found, but the fans can only expect what we collectively put in.
