-12? When he's not picked all you hypocrites will say it will be good news for stfc, because he will be fresh and fit. Good luck to the lad if he gets picked tho
To be fair Grim, think the minuses were for your comment not adding anything of value - not a fact nor opinion nor question or cogent sentence, just a couple of words which sounded disparaging. "BURNT OUT" - are you saying he's burnt out now, or that he would be burnt out after playing or are you talking nonsense in the hope of attracting minuses so you can get all defensive and so have an excuse to have a go at people? Provoke if you must but don't get all p!ssy when it ends up with people getting annoyed at you - it's inevitable given the contempt you regularly show people on here that they have no time for you. When you occasionally stop playing the wind up merchant you've said some sensible things, just be nicer if it happened more often.

If he didn't get picked the silver lining would be him possibly being fitter for next season and certainly no risk of injury. Looking on the bright side doesn't make someone a hypocrite. I'm glad he got picked, hope he gets some game time, and also hope he doesn't come home injured. Exactly what I said earlier."

MASSIMO Luongo is still waiting to find out whether or not he will be part of the Australia squad for the World Cup.

The Swindon Town midfielder is out in Brazil with the Socceroos but, with 27 players vying for only 23 places in the final squad, four players are due to be cut.

With the majority of the nations competing in the tournament announcing their full squads yesterday, as the Advertiser went to press tonight no declaration had been made by the Australian federation.

Luongo was in action for his country yesterday in their 2-0 friendly victory over Brazilian club side Clube Varana, and will be hoping his display was enough to earn himself a place in the final squad.
