CONNECTIONS of Toormore are looking forward to renewing rivalries with some familiar faces in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.
The Richard Hannon-trained colt won the Craven Stakes on his reappearance but had to settle for seventh in the Qipco 2000 Guineas, beaten just over four lengths.
Having bypassed the Tattersalls Irish 2,000 Guineas to wait for Ascot, the Middleham Park Racing-owned Group One winner is reported in good form and ready for another clash with the likes of Night Of Thunder and Kingman.
Middleham's Nick Bradley said: "He's perfectly fine and we'll take them on again in the St James's Palace.
"Whether or not that's as good as he is, you wouldn't know, but Richard (Hughes) said he ran flat."
