THE courtroom showdown between laywers representing Swinton Reds Ltd and Seebeck 87 Ltd, originally scheduled for today, has been postponed.

A hearing between the two parties, representing current Swindon chairman Lee Power and the company which claims to still own the club, Seebeck 87, had been earmarked for the Rolls Building in London today.

In the print edition of the Advertiser, we reported that Swinton Reds are continuing to seek an injunction preventing Seebeck from placing three new directors - Adam Fynn, Debbie Priestnall and David Smith - on the club's board.

An application was made on Monday for the case to be heard by Mr Justice Mann in courtroom 10 at the Rolls Building. However, after the Adver went to print last night, this paper was made aware that the hearing, which had previously been listed on the Rolls' daily cause list, was no longer due to take place.

Subsequently it was removed from the daily cause list and no resolution is expected today.
