It sadly wasn't to be for the Robins this evening, who didn't provide a heat advantage after heat six before being hit with three 5-1s to end the meeting.
Time to bounce back at Lynn on Wednesday night.
See you then.
(Don't forget, full report and reaction in tomorrow's paper)
Don't matter who you put in, there gonna struggle— @DGR_greenwood 12 May 2014
Speaking afterwards, Troy Batchelor was upbeat despite struggling all night and just put his troubles down to an off night.
“I’m only human and I still had fun,” he said.
“The guys were fast and with the new race format we race their top guys every time so it’s hard and I had a bit of an off night. That can happen but I’ll be back.
“I’m racing in Sweden on Tuesday so I’ll have a good one there and come back on form. You’re only human and you have a bad one sometimes.
“I changed bikes for my last race and was out the front until Kildy crashed, and then I was all on my own and it’s hard. I felt like I had some pace in the last one so it’s not all bad.”
Report filed from the Monmore car park, so time for some reaction.
Heat 15: Woffinden, Pawlicki, Kildemand, Morris; 55.46 – 5-1 (52-38)
Wolves take the maximum from the gate which secures all the points.
Pawlicki, Woffy, Kildemand and N Morris in heat 15. Wolves off one and three.
Heat 14: Proctor, A Morris, Worrall, Gustafsson; 56.74 – 5-1 (47-37)
Robins gate on a 5-1 but it’s the hosts who take the max as Proctor wins easily and Morris passes Worrall twice in a good battle.
No surprises as Worrall takes Greaves' place in heat 14
Heat 13: Woffinden, Pawlicki, Batchelor, Kildemand X; 54.95 – 5-1 (42-36)
Kildemand gives Woffinden no room to breath as the world champ is forced to lay the bike down, and is excluded. Batch can’t make an impact in the re-run.
Right decision I'd say. A huge locker from Kildemand left Tai with no option. Imagine Rosco's not happy though.
Red lights on and Kildemand is excluded after leaving Woffinden on the floor
Battle of the big guns in heat 13. Much more needed from Batch.
Heat 12: Thorssell, North, Worrall, A Morris; 55.53 – 3-3 (37-35)
Thorsell gates and wins as North’s initial pressure fades.
Ashley Morris in for Joe Jacobs in this one
I see gustafssons new engine looking good !! #adverspeedway— @robinsfan123 12 May 2014
Initials on the 2 Morris's would be good. Thought we had a 5-1 then. #adverspeedway— @tonecee72 12 May 2014
Heat 11: Pawlicki, Kildemand, Wells, Gustafsson R; 55.29 – 4-2 (34-32)
Kildemand has to bully his way past Wells but Pawlicki is long gone.
Heat 10: Woffinden, Morris, Thorssell, Batchelor; 54.81 – 4-2 (30-30)
After initially pushing Tai for the win, Morris has to hold off Thorsell on the line to limit the damage.
Heat nine: Worrall, Morris, Jacobs, Greaves; 56.59 – 3-3 (26-28)
Worrall gates and wins as Greaves is well adrift.
Heat eight: Proctor, North, Morris, Wells;55.79 – 3-3 (23-25)
Proctor gates and wins but North and Morris go inside and out of Wells to level the heat.
Heat seven: Gustafsson, Thorssell, Morris, Greaves; 56.27 – 3-3 (20-22)
Great gate from Gustafsson followed up by a superb turns three and four to earn the win. Greave is well adrift.
Gustafsson's out in the next one with Greaves.
Gustafsson got to preform tonight or he gotta get the boot ,,, #adverspeedway— @robinsfan123 12 May 2014
You get the feeling this one's going to go all the way. All aside heat five have ended 4-2 either way.
7:52pm Mon 12 May 14
Di kanny oh says
Encouraging start by the Robins get the feeling this will go to the wire with a close result either way. Should at least get a point tonight I feel.
Heat six: Kildemand, Wells, Batchelor, Proctor;55.61 – 2-4 (17-19)
Kildemand and Wells enjoy a ding-dong battle, with the Dane winning it. Batchelor pips Proctor on the line.
Heat five (re-run): Pawlicki, Woffinden, Gustafsson, Morris: awarded – 5-1 (15-15)
Morris is warned to stay still before falling in the re-run. Awarded as a 5-1 to the Wolves.
Heat four: North, Proctor, Worrall, Jacobs; 54.91 – 2-4 (10-14)
Great gate from North for another win while Worrall does well to ease his bike round minus his steel shoe.
North needs to back it up in this heat though
Decent start from the Robins, this. Good early wins for North and Morris.
Heat three: Morris, Wells, Batchelor, Pawlicki;55.60 – 2-4 (8-10)
Great first corner from Morris sees him cut back and take the lead by turn three, eventually holding onto it.
Heat two: Morris, Worrall, Jacobs, Greaves R; 56.88 – 4-2 (6-6)
Greaves gives it a good go as he initially passes Jacobs, but he eventually retires as Worrall is passed by Morris.
Heat one: North, Woffinden, Kildemand, Thorssell;54.50 – 2-4 (2-4)
Kildemand pushes Woffinden very wide which allows North under the pair. Tai beats out the Robins man for second while Thorssell is well off the pace.
Here we go!
Two minutes on. Robins won the toss and have one and three.
We're being treated to some traditional Black Country bingo humour before tapes-up tonight. Lucky us.
Parade done and the two minutes are about to go on.

Of course the Robins face the world champion this evening, Britain's very own Tai Woffinden. What an ambassador he's been for the sport in this country over the winter.

49-41 robins! #adverspeedway— @tapesup1949 12 May 2014
I'm going for the Robins to snatch a draw in heat 15 this evening. 47-43 I reckon.

Greaves and his reserve partner Steve Worrall are both regulars here at Monmore, given they ride for Cradley in the National League, so the expectation is there that they would do well.
Tonight sees a debut for youngster Nathan Greaves who comes into the team at reserve in place of Dan Greenwood. He has raw talent but don't expect too much too soon I would say.
He certainly is showing promise, though.
God evening one and all and welcome to the Advertiser's live coverage of the Robins' trip to Monmore Green to face Wolverhampton.
