THERE is no doubting Peter Kildemand has moved up a gear in the early weeks of the 2014 season.

The Dane has been the stand-out performer for the Robins so far this season, with a stunning maximum against maximum against Eastbourne as well as 29+1 from two meetings at Lakeside - a track he has previously voiced his dislike for.

Kildemand is tackling the top tier for the first time this year, having spent two years in the second tier with Lodz, and showed he has quickly adapted to life in the toughest league in the world with a maximum for Czestochowa at Gdansk on Sunday afternoon.

All that is bound to have attracted the attention of Danish coach Anders Secher, with the World Cup looming this summer, with Kildemand hopeful of taking a place alongside the likes of Nicki Pedersen and Niels-Kristian Iversen.

“It was great to score a max in Poland because it is my first time in that league and that was really one of my goals,” he said.

“It’s all going okay for me and I’ve been going well so far so I have to keep the good work up and see what’s going on.

“I have goals for myself and that of course means the World Cup which would be brilliant to be a part of.

“At the moment I think it’s a possibility but then the season is long and we’ll have to see what happens. I can’t really see too many Danes in front of me but obviously there will be Nicki (Pedersen) Kenneth (Bjerre) and Niels (Iversen). They still need two more guys and I think I should be one of them.”

Meanwhile, the Robins have announced re-admission details for fans who attended Monday night’s rained off clash with Birmingham.

A statement on the Robins website reads: “Re-admission tickets from Monday's abandoned meeting will be valid for £10 entry during the month of May.

“The normal policy is for a discount based on the number of races remaining at the time of the abandonment before the Heat 10 cut-off, which would see a £3 reduction on standard admission prices.

“However, the club wish to thank supporters for their continued backing and have therefore cut this to £10 as long as the offer is taken up at one of the remaining home fixtures in May.

“Alternatively, for the benefit of visiting supporters, a Monday night re-admission ticket will also be valid for £10 entry at the next visit of Birmingham.”
