FORMER skipper Hans Andersen will guest for Swindon Robins on Thursday night in the absence of current captain Troy Batchelor.
Australian Batchelor has been called up to ride for his country in a test match in Poland on Thursday evening, when the Robins host bottom side Birmingham, with Andersen the perfect choice to guest.
The Dane won the Elite League with the Robins in 2012 before leading his side to the play-offs last season, but was not retained for the new season and quickly joined Coventry.
Alun Rossiter will also be without star reserve Steve Worrall who is riding for Edinburgh at Ipswich in the Premier League, with a decision yet to be made regarding a replacement.
