It's another sunny evening here at Blunsdon, let's hope that Robins will be just as bright coming out of the gates.

Rossiter in tonight's programme on releasing Klindt: "It's a shame I can't give Nicolai more time to sort things out, especially as he's a nice lad, but it's a move we need to make in our current position.

"I had to do something, and it also keeps everyone else on their toes and shows that if we have to make a change we will do."

7:11pm

After tonight's meet, Swindon will travel to face the Lakeside Hammers tomorrow night and they will be without Batchelor, who is away in Poland for the GP, and Steve Worrall.

Well the days of watching 7 Elite league riders battling out are well and truly over with this new concept of blooding junior Brits and it now shows that some are good and coming along nicely but others are just way out of their depth. To be honest in some heats its watching two races and the distance apart is quite alarming. Tonight showed what a farce the whole system is with Eastbourne scoring 14 points from reserve and ours got a paltry 5 from just one rider and this puts a massive strain on our top five riders who had to make up 9 points. The farcical method of distribution of these fast track riders is not working with clubs like ours paying dearly loosing Josh Bates and now Darryl Ritchings so we end up with a kid who is not even Premier League level and really is out of his depth. No fault of his as he is a keen lad but the different levels of these riders is massive and this is the problem. Many of the riders in this fast track system are even being replaced by guest now with injuries and availability problems so just what is going on. I will find it hard to keep paying £17 to watch a disjointed league team and hate this new system enough to may be call time on my favorite sport. This I keep saying is clearly NOT Elite league anymore. Yes we got the win (just) but can't see this being anything other than a massive struggle for the Robins this season.

Yippee we got 2 points yes 2 points - we will be lambs to the slaughter tomorrow - we will be better off awarding Lakeside three points then to waste travelling expenses.
Rosco some hard thinking has to be done - reserves need looking at, other team's reserves seem to be doing great, what's wrong with ours ?
Would really love to come and join you, but can't afford for three of us to come every week - not value for money in my opinion
