CORSHAM swimmer Stephanie Millward qualified for tonight's A final in the women's multi-classification 100m freestyle at the British Para-Swimming International Meet in Glasgow this morning.
London 2012 Paralympic five-time medallist Millward, representing Bath's Aquae Sulis club, clocked 1:05.11 (826 points) to progress as the S9 category swimmer seeks qualification for this summer's IPC European Championships in Eindhoven.
British S14 swimmer Jessica-Jane Applegate was the top performer from the heats, touching in 1:00.93 for 993 points, but will not progress to the final as the 100m free is not an event in her classification at the European Championships.
Elsewhere on the opening morning, Trowbridge ASC Paralympian Aaron Moores was placed eighth in the morning heats of the men's 100m breaststoke in a time of 1:11.62 (807 points), while Corsham ASC's Craig Harris set a new personal best (1:17.21) to progress to the youth final this evening.
Harris was also in action in the 100m freestyle, finishing in 1:00.27 (728 points)
