PREDICTIONS LEAGUE: Easter Special

This week we have a double header with two matches over the Easter weekend.

Good Friday – Coventry v Swindon

Swindon take a trip up to the Midlands and the home of Coventry City – Northampton. Town currently have a knack of scoring late in any half and Louis Thompson got the both, last minute of the second half against Sheffield Utd and last minute of the first half against Brentford. But who can forget that memorable away match last season at the Rioch Stadium.

One nil down from the first couple of minutes, Swindon played their hearts out and were rewarded for their efforts with an equaliser from Andy Williams with four minutes remaining. Yet the Town still weren't finished. With mere seconds to the final whistle, Daren Ward grabs the winner.

Could do with that score line again, just don’t leave it so late this time, I don’t think my heart can take any more.

Easter Monday – Swindon v Bradford

Swindon’s penultimate home match is against Bradford and we could see the return of Rafa De Vita at the County Ground. The last three meetings with the Bantams have all ended in a draw, and let’s hope for a few more goals.

There has only been one goal for each team in those meetings, the 1-1 draw in December last year. Town were unlucky not to gain all three points after Alex Pritchard solo run and left foot shot leveled the match.
