“This is the first time where I’ve been involved in the play-offs and thought we are the team to beat,” Moore told the Adver.

Aaron Nell doesn't expect tonight to be easy. He told the Adver: “They will be a better side than the one we beat 3-0.

“This is the play-offs and they will step it up a level.

“But we must do that too. Play-off hockey is the best kind there is and we have to raise our game.

“We are extremely confident at the moment, but we have to keep ourselves on an even keel."

5:42pm

Stevie Lyle told the Advertiser today that he had a message for the fans ahead of the the big night at the Link: “I just want to say thanks for the support for the whole season and hopefully we can pay that back.

“The fans been great all year to be honest, that helps us out. I spoke to Steve Nell and he said Saturday will be the same as last week and it should be packed (at the Link) again.

“The more people you play in front of the more we get excited about the game, especially the young guys.”
