SWINDON Robins skipper Troy Batchelor enjoyed a successful evening as he finished second in Joonas Kylmakorpi's testimonial meeting tonight.

The Aussie top scored in the qualifying heats as he scored 12 points from his five rides, earning him a place in the final alongside former Swindon captain Hans Andersen, Adam Skornicki and Lewis Bridger.

The Aussie was knocked off by Bridger in the final but got up for the re-run during which he finished second behind former teammate Andersen.

Batchelor, along with Peter Kildemand, competes in the Elite Riders' Championship tomorrow night in Coventry.

Nicolai Klindt scored 11 points from five qualifing ridesw in Morten Risager's testimonial at Ipswich tonight but missed out on a place in the final after hitting the tapes in his semi, forcing him to go off 15 metres.
