SWINDON trio Troy Batchelor, Peter Kildemand and Nicolai Klindt were in action yesterday at former Robin Mads Korneliussen’s testimonial meeting.
The three riders joined with former captain Hans Andersen to form a four-man Swindon team for the meeting at King’s Lynn, competing against the Stars, Newport Wasps and Korneliussen’s current team Leicester.
Kildemand was the top Robins scorer with 11 and made it through to the individual final as a result, which was won by Niels-Kristian Iversen who was representing Newport.
Leicester won the meeting on 28, with Swindon and Lynn on 24 and Newport on 20.
The Robins are holding their press day on Thursday, with the Abbey Stadium open to the public from 3pm with admission granted for a donation to St John’s Ambulance.
After the practice session the riders will move to the central bar at 6pm for a question and answer session.
