PREDICTIONS LEAGUE: Bristol City v Swindon Town

It’s derby Time. Swindon take on the red side of Bristol and the clash should provide all the motivation needed for a good performance. With just pride to play for, the boys will want to impress. Bristol City have been in a relegation struggle all season, but since the New Year they have started to turn it around picking up 19pts.

That tally includes an away win against Orient and an impressive 10 man away win against Peterborough. City are on a run of 3 consecutive wins and will be looking to extend that further as they climb out of the relegation battle.

In comparison, Town have picked up 13pts in the same period. Only 1 win in eleven games in all competitions and just 3 wins since the start of 2014.

The reverse fixture saw Swindon come from behind, a rare thing this campaign, to take all three points. One nil down after 9 minutes as Aiden Flint heads in from a Marlon Pack corner. Nicky Ajose equalised, only for City to retake the lead 10 minutes from the break. Swindon managed to fight their way back and were rewarded again when Ajose netted to make it 2-2 at the break. The second half saw Town build up a heat of steam and really take the game to City. Despite all the pressure it looked like the draw was the likely outcome.

But Swindon were not finished. Nile Ranger grabbed the winner 3 minutes from normal time. Town had to endure nearly 7 minutes of time added on as City tried to get the equaliser. They near managed it but Brendan Moloney saw his shot come back off the bar and Town gained all the glory and all the points.
