2-0 up at half time (both goals by Younis Mahmoud). Perhaps Yasser can bring his mate back with him!

Ali Adnan with the third. - ought to change his name to Ali Adwan if you ask me!
China's was a (pen)

Result leaves Iraq 2nd in Asian Cup Qualifying Group C; 1 point behind Saudi Arabia, who have a game in hand.

Yasser comes back with the 3 points! Well done that man.

wiki, another good site is:
www.livefootballontv
.com
It lists out all live games across all UK channels. Doesn't help if you've not got the channels but you might end up watching something you're interested in at the pub/sports bar when you get there. The World Cup listings are all there so you can plan your summer from the comfort of your own computer.
Luckily enough I live in China so I'll be able to watch re-runs of today's match on the telly on CCTV5 (China Central Television) for weeks to come!

Hi Fernham Red -

not sure whether you got my message on the Forum enquiring about your location in China. My step-daughter is now an hon. STFC supporter so I'll tell her to keep an eye out for your t-shirt (seemed to be a lot of red t shirts in China for some reason when we visited last year:) She is in Shunde province near the Pearl river Delta near Foshan.

cheers

Show's that we must be doing the right things in training at Swindon, as when he was at Luton he could'nt get into their side.

Hi Wirral,

I did respond but probably a few hours later on the thread. I'm in Shenzhen and occasionally get across to Guangzhou as my daughter studies there. Shunde is a little further south from there. I haven't been there yet but there's meant to be a good Bruce Lee museum and a few classical gardens.

I went to Foshan a couple of months ago to the Temple of the Ancestors and watched the Dragon Dancers - impressive stuff. A lot of history wrapped up in that town including being home to Yip Man, Bruce Lee's tutor.

If I read correctly, I think Yaser had something to do with the first or second goal? - started off not so good, giving away poor fouls then came into his own and bossed the midfield. Sound familiar?

Kasim you made us proud. I hope I can follow in his footsteps
My name is Layith Hana, I am Iraqi/Canadian I play in Toronto, Canada. I am looking for tryouts at different clubs in England. I have some videos to give you an idea about my style of play; the video includes high school indoor tournaments as well as indoor and outdoor Mississauga league games. If you are wondering if I am good enough, I got some interest from clubs in Europe through an official Fifa scouts.
