PREDICTIONS LEAGUE: Port Vale v Swindon Town

Has our away form finally changed? That is 2 draws on the bounce away from the CG, coming from behind both times. A dogged 1-1 draw at Walsall and a thoroughly deserved 2-2 at London “cabbage patch” Road in the JPT Area Final 1st leg.

We travel to Vale Park at the weekend, where, back at the beginning of November, in the reverse fixture, Town ran out 5-2 winners. Three up within the hour and it all looked good. Vale had other ideas and managed to bring it back to 3-2 as we took the foot off the gas. It was a wake-up call for the lads and we managed to close out the game with 2 goals in the last 8 minutes.

Vale are in 9th place, just 2 points behind the Town. Swindon must not lose this match, another draw would be great. All three points would be fantastic as it would hopefully show that our away form may just have turned the corner. And rekindle any hopes that some fans have of us reaching the play-offs.For that to happen, we must improve our away results and hope that other results go in our favour.

Put in the effort, determination and spirit shown on Wednesday and we shall see what the boys can achieve. Put in a performance similar to the last home game and we will get exactly what we deserve.

Come on Swindon, your fans expect.
