HULLAVINGTON teenager Fraser Rogers is looking forward to his debut season in the FIM Supersport World Championship this year.

The 17 year old has signed for the Team Com Plus SMS Racing for this season championship after a successful wild card ride in Jerez at the last round of the 2013 season.

Rogers, who has previously participated in the CEV 125GP and Moto 3 Championship's in Spain for three seasons,'' said: "This is a new era for me & I'm very confident that we have the potential to be in the top ten this season. I can't wait for round one next month in Philip Island (Australia).

"The winter test in January in Spain and Philip Island in February will allow me time to get used to the Honda."

Team Manager Jan Saska said: "We are preparing for our fourth season in the World Supersport Championship in 2014 and we were looking for an injection of young fresh talent into the team.

"We worked together in Jerez and I have seen the potential capability and aptitude of Fraser. I believe he has the potential to become an extremely successful and competitive rider over the coming years."
