DAVE George admitted his Bradford team had done it the hard way after claiming a fifth successive Dorset & Wilts One North win with just 14 men.

Number eight Ben Walker was sent off for the visitors, leaving them facing the majority of the second half playing up the slope, into the conditions and a man down.

Bradford led 10-7 at the interval, Ben Sheppard touching down for a try and Tom Hyde landing the conversion and a penalty.

Calne responded with a penalty try, converted by Matt Kelly.

But Bradford then seized control of the contest, man of the match Charlie Holton scoring two tries from full-back and wing Jow Awdry adding another, Hyde kicking a further penalty.

Jay Watkin dived over for the home side’s second try, against converted by Kelly.
