Definitely - draw the away game and we've got every chance of going through. If we only drew at home first I'd be nervous about our chances for the return leg. It's a psychological thing more than anything else but still reckon that's the best we could have hoped for.

We got 10k for that one - so hopefully we will get even more for Posh - though they were only £10 last time

Cup football always has been, and always will be, a game of chance. You have to take what comes, adapt and get on with it. All of which I'm sure we can do. Cooper may not be everybodies first choice, but given the circumstances under which he has to work and expect his fledgling team to perform, I think the guy does a good a job as anyone could have realistically hoped for. Given some of the football we have played, our league position, and the injury list he has had to work through you don't hear complaints or demands, or even excuses. He puts his hands up and takes the blame for things, explains the situation and gets on with it.

I'm quite sure we will try our best in these times of rumours etc of player sales, and the odd inconsistent performance is down to the territory of our position as a club and as a team. No huge sums of money being wasted on injury prone players, agents fees and the like. I for one don't expect promotion, but will support the team towards it should it come, taking nothing for granted in a difficult season and not building false hope avoids the pitfalls of disapointment. That said, as a club we have an issue to settle, so if we do make the final, lets just hope a bobble doesn't spoil the day and rob us of a Cup or promotion.
We played some guys last evening and the feed back says they did ok, not bad. I'm the same as many in not wanting fit , promising, skilled players like Fodders and Thompsons being sold, but if their legacy is to safeguard the club, then so be it, the club must come first. It goes around.
I'll settle for a top half league place and be happy, anything higher is a bonus, promotion would be everybodies dream come true, and would seriously spark some new support for this club, about time too, given the catchment area. We have so much to play for, so much to look forward to and so far this season has been far from what many expected just five months ago.

Jayden -yes off to Sheffield -we'll be in the Fat Cat beforehand sampling the local real ale and the ridiculously cheap excellent bar food.
Chish - no of course not and if what you say is correct then I'm in for a good few more thumbs downs lol! In this particular instance I just found it weird that I was merely repeating a quote from the Sun about clubs after Luongo.
