PREDICTIONS LEAGUE: Rotherham v Swindon Town
The last time we played Rotherham was two seasons ago. Matt Ritchie bagged two goals in two first half minutes in a nervy 2-1 win for the Town. Another brace, in the return fixture at the County Ground, this time from Alan Connell, saw the Town to another win over The Millers by 3 goals to 2.
It was one goal a piece at half time and mid way through the second period, it all kicked off. Rotherham took the lead on 65 minutes with Alex Revell’s second goal of the match.
Three minutes later, Danny Schofield saw red for a second bookable offence and the Milers were down to 10 men. Alan Connell came off the bench to replace Magera and with his first touch, seized the moment to bring the Town back to parity, within seconds of the sending off.
The super-sub was at it again when he netted his second 12 minutes later to put the Town in front for the first time in the match. Despite Comazzi also being shown the red card with 5 minutes remaining, the Town held on for memorable win.
