PREDICTIONS LEAGUE: Preston North End v Swindon Town
September was said by many to be a tough month for the Town, and yes, we only have 4 points to show for it to date.
Yet, you cannot argue, well maybe you can, the performances have been tremendous. From the backs-to-wall heroics against MK Dons, the spirited efforts against Wolves, the comeback to local rivals Bristol City, to the very creditable efforts against Chelsea. A side that boasted full internationals in virtually every department.
The fact that Jose Mourinho put out a strong side, was a testimony as to how well we play, and that he was not going to us for granted.
The Town can hold their heads high and be proud of all their performances in September.
Now, it’s time to turn all the good play into points. Bring on Preston North End.
Forget what happened last season, we want pay-back. Wes Fodderingham has matured since his last outing at Deepdale. This time we will take the points and get our away form on-track.
