SWINDON TOWN: Millwall cancel N'Guessan's contract
MILLWALL have cancelled the contract of Dany N'Guessan by mutual consent, paving the way for the striker to join Swindon Town on a free transfer.
N'Guessan is understood to have been in Swindon this morning to finalise the terms of his switch to Wiltshire, and a formal announcement is expected this afternoon.
A statement on Millwall's official website read: "Millwall can confirm that Dany N'Guessan's contract with the club was terminated by mutual consent on Saturday 31st August.
"The forward joined The Lions from Leicester City in August 2011, initially on loan, before penning a permanent deal at the end of that month.
"He went on to make a total of 38 appearances for Millwall, scoring five goals. His only appearance of this season came from the bench in the 2-2 draw with Sheffield Wednesday earlier this month.
"The club would like to wish Dany the very best of luck in his future career."
