Kitty King
THREE WIltshire riders have been included in the nine-strong squad to represent Great Britain during the FEI Nations Cup Series.
Lower Stanton St Quintn's Kitty King is included in the four-strong team to compete at first Nations Cup competition at Fontainebleau, France, on March 21-24, with her horse Zidante.
Laura Collett, who is based at the Membury Estate near Marlborough, is a travelling reserve on Allora 3.
Tom McEwen, who moved to the Badgerstown complex in Foxhill, near Swindon, owned by New Zealand superstar Sir Mark Todd, earlier this year is also in the squad.
A British Equestrian Federation spokesman said: "The primary objective of this squad selection is to give riders who do not have a depth of senior team experience the opportunity to compete in a team environment.
Bedfordshire's Sarah Bullimore, Emily Llewellyn, from Surrey, East Sussex's Gemma Tattersall and Francis Whittington, Izzy Taylor, from Oxfordshire and Lucy Wiegersma, from Devon, complete the squad.
A team of four - with a travelling reserve - will be selected by team manager Philip Surl and Performance Manager Yogi Breisner to represent Britain at each of the seven Nations Cup events throughout the summer.
