UHLSPORT HELLENIC LEAGUE DIVISION ONE WEST: Wootton Bassett Town 2 Hook Norton 0

WOOTTON Bassett Town maintained the pressure on Hellenic League Division One West leaders Brimscombe and Thrupp as two second-half goals secured victory over Hook Norton at Rylands Way.

Shaun Terry's introduction sparked life into the home side after a low-key first half as he set up Steve Robertson for the opening headed goal just before the hour mark.

Terry rubber-stamped victory for Dave Turner's men when he finished off Jacob Hayden's cross in the closing stages.

Victory against Tytherington Rocks in two weeks will secure a top-two finish for Bassett.
