SWINDON Town have a 100 per cent league record on their travels at Crawley in a grand total of one visit to the Broadfield Stadium.

The two sides’ only meeting in the Football League came last year, and it was a memorable night for the travelling Town fans in Sussex.

Alan Connell put Swindon in front in the 28th minute, while Mehdi Kerrouche scored twice late on to put the gloss on the victory for the Robins.

On the only other occasion that Town ventured to Crawley, the then non-league hosts held their Wiltshire guests to a 1-1 draw.

In a televised FA Cup second round game, on a pitch that resembled an ice rink and played in freezing fog, Swindon took the lead courtesy of Charlie Austin’s strike.

However, Matt Tubbs forced a replay which the Red Devils would go on to win 3-2 after extra time at the County Ground.
