As for Tranmere!?…well it's true to say that we aren't their favourite opponents and that is even excluding the recent 5-0 thrashing….one which many put down to the fact that their players had their Christmas Party a few days before….but Swindon have won 4 and drawn 1 of their last 5 meetings having scored 14 and conceded 1. Whilst we've won the last the two Matches at Birkenhead our general form there has been less than convincing with the home side ahead on W-11 D-3 L-3 since 1986 in all league matches.

As we all know prior form doesn't really count for much and it comes down to recent form….both sides are high up in the form tables with Swindon 2nd only to Walsall on 17pts for the last eight games and Tranmere only 1pt behind in 7th on 16pts…..this is a MUST WIN for Tranmere and a really nice to win for Town….a draw wouldn't be disaster by any means but 3pts would put us only 4 behind with 2 games in hand.

Personally…..!?….I really fancy our chances in this one as I think our boys are not only on a serious run of form but they are looking really tidy and full of fighting spirit….are you as confident!?
