SWINDON Town's trip to Colchester United has been rearranged for Tuesday, February 5.

The game was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 29 but was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.

The match will kick-off at 7.45pm and tickets purchased for the original date will still be valid.

We've had some good away form and given that they nearly always stop over the night before they should be fine for the latter 2 journeys.

I doubt PDC has a say in it. They generally try and play the games as soon as possible. If there was another wet or cold spell there could be a fixture pile up and you don't want to be looking back thinking you could've got games out the way earlier.

Crawley and Orient aren't much of a distance so the travelling shouldn't be a concern.

The cheeky thing is, the loans of Martin and Hollands are up on the 2nd, so instead of facing us in-form and full strength Colchester get us road-weary and possibly missing some of our key players. Bet they didn't make much of an effort to clear that pitch...

After the Tranmere game they can always have a week by the sea in Essex/Sussex, training on the beach should keep them fresh and then home to meet up with the monkey hangers on the 9th.
