2:45pm Monday 31st December 2012 in Sport
CHIPPENHAM Town remain confident that their clash with local rivals Frome Town tomorrow will go ahead.
Bluebirds officials have been inspecting the Hardenhuish Park surface this afternoon and with the local rainfall due to subside this evening, Chippenham have opted not to schedule a pitch inspection for tomorrow morning.
But the Bluebirds plan on reviewing their pitch once more later today and have a local referee on standby if an official inspection is deemed necessary.
Chippenham and Frome are due to meet at 3pm.
Meanwhile, under the advice of Dorset Police, Frome's trip to Weymouth on Janaury 19 will see fans segregated.
Away fans will have no access to bar facilities before, during, or after the game to prevent any meetingS with home supporters.
Last season, the Robins launched an investiagation into reports of crowd trouble during their 3-0 win at the Terras in April.
