SWINDON will be looking for their first ever league win at the Weston Homes Community Stadium when they travel to Essex tomorrow.

Town have lost all three of their trips to Colchester’s modern home, which was opened in 2008, with the last being in February 2011. Scott Cuthbert equalised in the second half after David Mooney had given the hosts the lead, but Steven Gillespie pounced in the final minute to earn all three points for the Us.

The Robins conceded three on their two other previous visits, with a 3-0 defeat in April 2010 following a 3-2 loss the previous March.

But Paolo Di Canio’s side will return to Colchester with good recent memories, with Matt Ritchie’s strike last December knocking the then higher division side out of the FA Cup, setting up a tie with Premier League Wigan.

In all the two teams have met 36 times in Essex, the majority being at Layer Road, with Town having won nine, drawn seven, and lost 20.
