WILTSHIRE swimmer Jazz Carlin hopes to build on her promising relay form in the 400m freestyle at the Wolrd Short-Course Championships in Istanbul tomorrow.
The former Wootton Bassett School pupil helped the British 4x200m freestyle relay squad into fifth place as the United States took gold in a time of 7:39.25, closely followed by Russia in second and the Chinese in third last night.
Carlin was joined by Swindon-born Hannah Miley, who had earlier claimed 400 metres individual medley gold, Rebecca Turner and Sophie Allen as they clocked a combined 7:45.85.
Carlin said on Twitter: "Happy with my split tonight and faster than this morning! So got to be happy with 5th! Looking forward to the 400 on Friday.''
