PREDICTIONS LEAGUE: FA Cup special

Stevenage results and Pre-Villa league tables are on the results thread as of now.
.
Tomorrow sees the start of the OLDEST and most PRESTIGIOUS football knock-out competition known world-wide….and the main F.A. Cup starts tomorrow as well.

You don't need to do anything as everyone who has entered the Predictions League to-date are automatically entered and the points will come from your normal match-to-match predictions on F.A. Cup match days.

Our competition will be slightly different in the early rounds as everyone entered will be drawn into groups of 5 (seeded on the Pre-Villa league table positions) and will play each of the other posters in their group on a league basis over Rounds 1 - 3 of the F.A. Cup PLUS the Boxing Day fixtures. The points you get from each of your normal posts will give a match score for that day's head-to-head with 3pts awarded to the winner or 1pt each n the event of a draw as per a normal league game.

After the 3rd Rd the points gained by each person will be added to their predictions league total - win all 4 games and you get 12 points!…The top 2 from each of the 16 leagues will then qualify for the 4th Rd of the Prediction League F.A. Cup and will then work on a straight Knock-Out basis.

Points will then be awarded as such - 4th Rd losers - 2pts; 5th Rd losers - 4pts; 6th Rd losers - 6pts; Semi-Final losers - 8pts; Runner-Up - 10pts and Overall winner - 15pts.
