Potted history
THE shared history between Swindon Town and Macclesfield is practically non-existent.
The two clubs have only met twice in the Football League at the County Ground, with Swindon winning both games.
Ricky Shakes and Lee Peacock grabbed the goals in a 2-0 Robins victory in the first ever clash between the sides in Wiltshire in January 2007, a game in which Alan Navarro appeared for the visitors, while Paul Benson got the only goal of the game in Town’s 1-0 success in January of this year.
Macc have never scored at the County Ground.
