More Banksy-style graffiti spotted
 |
| This Banksy-style graffiti was spotted at The Crammer, in Devizes |
THE Banksy craze sweeping Chippenham still seems to be taking hold of the town.
Since the original sighting of a potential Banksy on a bus shelter in Marshfield Road, four more images were found across the town.
The two sketches on the footbridge at Chippenham railway station, of an open train carriage and a batman silhouette, are still causing excitement.
Jeff Thaw, 35, of Downham Mead, travels to London on the trains each day and was amazed by the two images.
He said: "They look so real and when I saw them for the first time I was bowled over to be honest.
"I think it makes a pleasant change from the usual muck that is sprayed over walls and fences.
"I am a huge fan of the originals and these are second to none."
All of the images still remain in across the town, despite claims from bus shelter owners Adshel claiming they will remove the original piece.

None of this tags are done by banksy.
They're close to his style of art nut these pieces have been around for along time and are not in same same time line as the recent one spotted in Chippenhams bus shelter which looks a little more like Banksy but i still believe it is not.

Jesus christ. I bet if you ever did meet Banksy you'd be the first to empty his spray cans in his face...unless he was wearing a name badge. Of course they're not Banksy. The article doesn't even say they are Banksy. Why not go to an Oasis forum and declare them cheap copycat con artists or better still research stencil graffiti instead of talking a load of crap because your mum got you a Banksy book for christmas.

It's funny, cus if the real Banksy turned up and was doing art on walls, none of you would complain about 'graffiti' then, cus he's famous. I think all of these are very good, een if they are 'graffiti', and, o.k if they're not real, but give the guys a break. How do you think Banksy became famous??

its better to see some creative graffiti around, it makes a change to "tagging", tagging and spray painting gives graffiti such a bad name, this kind of work is so much better than the usual crap.
