Mourners at the funeral of popular Devizes barber Clive Hazell, who died on June 2 after a short illness, are being asked to wear a splash of orange, in recognition of Mr Hazell’s love of motorsport and his many years as a track marshal.
The funeral service is being held at St John’s Church, Devizes, at 3.30pm on Monday, June 29, followed by a gathering at Devizes Rugby Club.
Family flowers only, with donations in Mr Hazell’s memory going to the ITU at Bath’s Royal United Hospital.
Mr Hazell’s partner for more than 20 years, Sue Rogalski, said: “The hospital were magnificent so we would particularly like donations to go to the ITU there.”
Mr Hazell, who was 69, also leaves his children Ashley and Gemma, son-in-law Lee and daughter-in-law Kaye, grandchildren Neeve and Ciara, sister Karen, cousin Sandra and stepchildren Ashley, Kelly and Bradley and step-granddaughter Lacey.
