Natasha Goode was a loving and caring mum and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs Goode (nee Barkham) died at home on June 23, aged 28, after battling cancer.

Her wedding to Stewart Goode was brought forward and about 40 family and friends were there to celebrate the special occasion on June 6. It was held in the chapel at the Royal United Hospital, Bath.

She returned to her home in Silverlands, Rowde, the following day.

Mrs Goode was born and brought up in Devizes and lived in the family home in Ferozeshah Road.

She went to Bishops Cannings Primary School followed by St Augustine’s School, Trowbridge.

Her first job was in Pewsey working for a hot air balloon company, followed by Focus DIY in Devizes.

She left when she had her son, Tyler, now eight. She later returned to work as a carer and latterly got a job at B&Q in Devizes as a customer adviser.

It was at B&Q where she met Stewart Goode, who worked there as a customer services assistant, in about September 2012.

Mr Goode said it was love at first sight. The couple got engaged a few weeks after Mrs Goode was diagnosed with lymphoma on August 9 last year.

Mrs Goode underwent treatment including chemotherapy and never complained. Her family say she was an inspiration and never gave up.

She achieved her goal of walking down the aisle unaided with her father on her wedding day.

She loved the pop band Westlife and went to see them at numerous gigs, estimated to be more than 30 times, when she was a teenager but also until about three years ago.

Her other interests included watching soap operas, including Hollyoaks and EastEnders, and wrestling.

She always liked to look her best and was a homely person and loved to spend time with her family and friends.

As well as her husband and son, she will be dearly missed by her parents, Dougie and Elizabeth, younger brother Stefan and her step-son Benjamin.

Her funeral service is on Friday, July 11, at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, St Joseph’s Place, Devizes, at 11am.
