Wootton Bassett primary school's appeal

Wootton Bassett Infant School is appealing for help from local businesses to raise funds for new play equipment.

The Parent Teacher Association is in need of extra support to try and get some proper outdoor play equipment for the children.

PTA committee member Caroline Walker said: "We have outdoor toys at the moment but nothing is fixed.

"There isn't anything like a climbing frame that some schools have and that's what we would really like.

"It is quite a small community here and local businesses aren't always aware that they can help."

Proceeds from the annual fete that is organised for June 20 will also go towards the new equipment.

Anyone who can help should call the school on (01793) 852254.
