Lackham welcomes riders at horse trials
After the Badminton horse trials two weeks ago, it is now Lackham's turn to host a major equestrian event.
More than 2,000 visitors are expected at the Wiltshire College, for the annual two-day British Eventing Horse Trials on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
This year's event has attracted more than 500 competitors.
It is for horses and riders at the Open Pre Novice standard in dressage, show jumping, and cross-country.
Last year the event attracted some of the world's top riders, including Olympian William Fox-Pitt, and local star Harry Meade, who is based near Chippenham.
