 | St John's students learn dangers of teen drinking | | 2:30pm Mon 5 May 08 | | Thanks to a grant from Wiltshire Crimebeat, students from Year 8 at St John's School in Marlborough were lucky enough to watch a dance production of 'Dyin 2 b Drunk' last week, a show that is currently on tour across England. Dyin 2 b Drunk is a dance theatre production for teenagers, designed and written with one purpose: to highlight the dangerous consequences of drinking too much alcohol. Through hip hop and contemporary dance the 12 & 13-year olds were shown the dangers and consequences of binge drinking. The show was performed by dance company Pretty Good Girl and directed by Lou Barrett. |
