Youngsters Holly and Joey Hollis aged 7 and 9, respectively, completed the Avebury to Stonehenge walk last weekend, all 26 miles.

An extensive project to stabilise Silbury Hill has reached completion, following vital works to repack voids and an historic tunnel running through to its centre which had threatened the structure of the Neolithic mound. The success of the project will be marked today with the sowing of grass and flora seeds on the top of the Hill by all those involved in the work.

Thanks to a grant from Wiltshire Crimebeat, students from Year 8 at St John's School in Marlborough were lucky enough to watch a dance production of 'Dyin 2 b Drunk' last week, a show that is currently on tour across England. Dyin 2 b Drunk is a dance theatre production for teenagers, designed and written with one purpose: to highlight the dangerous consequences of drinking too much alcohol. Through hip hop and contemporary dance the 12 & 13-year olds were shown the dangers and consequences of binge drinking. The show was performed by dance company Pretty Good Girl and directed by Lou Barrett.
