A MOTORCYCLIST in his 40s has been taken to hospital with head injuries after a crash at Lime Kiln in Royal Wootton Bassett.
A Yamaha 125cc motorcycle and a Corsa van were involved in the crash at 6.30am with the motorcyclist being taken to the major trauma unit at Southmead Hospital suffering head injuries.
The driver of the Corsa was treated for shock at the scene.
The road was partly blocked in both directions between the A3102 High Street junction and the Fairfield junction this morning but has now been reopened.
Police are still investigating at the scene.
