POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a house in Royal Wootton Bassett was burgled just after Christmas day.
The home in Piper's Close was broken into between 1pm and 8.30pm on Monday.
A small amount of cash and a gold ring with the initials ES engraved on it were taken.
PC Kerry Vicat said: "If you live in that area and saw anyone or anything suspicious during the day or early evening please call me on 101 or call anonymously via Crime stoppers on 0800 555 111.
"Remember to make sure you keep all your windows and doors locked when out and follow the relevant security measures when leaving your home unoccupied."
