POLICE are trying to identify two men seen acting suspiciously in Royal Wootton Bassett last week.

On August 5 two incidents in which two males on bicycles were reported to police.

The first incident was at Iceland car park, just off the High Street, where car door handles were being tried b two men on bicycles.

Shortly afterwards, at Brian’s Garage in the High Street, a man on a bicycle was seen taking a car key through the open driver’s window.

The first male is described as white, with a black and white peaked hat, a white or grey hoodie, black jogging bottoms, and a black small bag around his chest, riding on a black mountain bike.

The second male was wearing grey trousers, a light blue T-shirt, navy blue bomber jacket, dark hat with a red logo on it, and was darker skinned.

Police would like to speak to both men in connection with the incidents.

CCTV enquiries currently ongoing, and anyone with information about the pair is asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101 and the information to be passed to PCSO 6602 Hector.
