VOLUNTEERS are being urged to sign up to take part in the Prospect Hospice Walk Of Memories next month.
Each year, the Wroughton-based hospice hosts the sponsored walk, and again this year it takes place at Buscot Park, near Faringdon.
Lord Faringdon and his family will be opening the park for a one-off occasion, prior to the estate’s summer season.
Dedicated Prospect supporter Phil Hall will be among those putting on their boots on Sunday, March 15, for a peaceful and reflective walk.
“I walk in memory of my late wife, Dawn,” said retired Army officer Phil.
“It is a lovely occasion to be part of, especially as it raises much needed funds for Prospect Hospice.”
It costs £8 for adults, £3 for under 16s or £20 for two adults and two children and has a suggested sponsorship target of £80 a person or £150 a couple or family.
