Wiltshire mental health services slammed

The Care Quality Commission has today criticised services provided by the Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership, which has its headquarters in Chippenham.

The commission visited 11 community mental health services in Bristol, South Gloucs, BANES, Swindon and Wiltshire, reporting on a range of specialist services provides care and support to people in their homes and other community settings.

The review of community services found that the trust was failing to meet four of the five standards reviewed.

The commission has given the trust 14 days to provide it with full details of how it is going to comply with the regulations. The commission will follow up to make sure improvements are made.
