Two killed in crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a double fatal crash near Swindon late last night.

It occurred on the B4005 Hay Lane near Lower Bassett Farm, Swindon, at 11.35pm. A red Peugeot 306 driven by a 27-year-old man from the Swindon area was in collision with a blue Vauxhall Corsa driven by a 23-year-old man, also from Swindon.

Both sustained fatal injuries.
