Charitable members from the Wiltshire Farmstay Bed and Breakfast Group came together at Corsham market last week to raise money for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance as part of national breakfast week.
They set up a stall on market day in Corsham High Street last Tuesday and sold bacon and egg rolls, and other refreshments raising £292.90 in the space of just a few hours.
Elaine Sexton, who runs The Old Rectory bed and breakfast in Lacock said: “We go somewhere different each year.
“This year we decided to go to Corsham market. It was freezing and people wanted warm drinks and rolls.
“I was amazed how many people stopped and donated to the air ambulance fund.”
She said that it is a good local cause and as a horse rider she knows how helpful the air ambulance can be in rural locations.
