INTERNATIONAL breakthrough artist George Ezra has announced dates as part of summer concert Forest Live.

He is one of the biggest selling male artists of the decade, and the announcement comes a few months before his second album, which will be released in March.

The Budapest and Don't Matter Now singer will be headlining at Westonbirt Arboretum, near Tetbury on Sunday June 17.

Forestry Live is a major live music series, managed by the Forestry Commission. Held annually in seven beautiful forest locations, it will be returning this year to Tetbury.

Ezra's debut album Wanted on Voyage is certified 4x platinum in the UK and was amongst the top ten biggest selling artist albums in this country in both 2014 and 2015, reaching number one in the Official UK Chart and spending 122 weeks in the chart overall.

He has had a top ten album in ten countries, three sold out UK tours, nominations for four BRITs, one BBC Music Award, and an Ivor Novello.

He returned last summer with a new single, Don't Matter Now, a sold out tour, and festival performances at Glastonbury, V Festival, TRNSMT and the Isle of Wight.

A spokesman for the Forestry Commission said: "With everything required for a great night out, including good food and bar, the concerts are renowned for their informal and relaxed atmosphere set to a spectacular forest backdrop. Income generated from ticket sales helps look after the nation’s forests sustainably, for people to enjoy and wildlife to thrive."

Tickets are £34.50 (plus £3.95 booking fee), and are available to buy from 9am on Friday, January 12 from the Forestry Commission box office on 03000 680400, or online at forestry.gov.uk/music.
