THREE companies swept up at the Wiltshire Business Awards after they were named as the winners of the Customer and Staff Care Awards.

The award, sponsored by Mainline Employment, recognises small, medium and large companies for going the extra mile for their staff and customers and Box-based food management company allmanhall scooped the award for small business.

Human resources manager Coleen Wiltshire said: "We are really delighted to receive this award tonight because we have the most amazing, charismatic staff and we are proud to be part of such an exciting year and team.

IT software retailer Bechtle won the medium category and managing director James Napp praised his staff. He said: "We are so surprised that we have won again but it is great because we put so much into finding the right people. We are all about giving people opportunities to change and make the business their own."

Renewable energy supplier Good Energy were crowned as the winners in the large category, much to the delight of head of resources Juliet Love, who accepted the award with colleague Ian Haydon.

She said: "We are absolutely delighted. It is amazing being a local employer who now has about 330 members of staff and we are in a good place, doing good things. This is the perfect award for us because there are three things we care about: Our staff, our customers and our planet."

Juliet Davenport OBE, founder and CEO at Good Energy added: “This is great news for Good Energy, our customers and, of course for our brilliant staff. Above all, the award is recognition of all the hard work by our Customer Care team to deliver a fantastic service to our customers. We couldn’t be more proud!”
