The 27-year-old man arrested on suspicion of the murder of Jordan Taylor has been released from police custody without charge.
Wiltshire Police have confirmed that the man has been forensically eliminated from the investigation.
Detective Inspector Jim Taylor said: “We would like to stress the importance of not speculating as to who is responsible for this incident on social media.
"We understand and appreciate the power of social media and how influential it can be in assisting with our enquiries. We are also aware that tensions are understandably running high within the local community and amongst Jordan’s friends.
"However, speculation on social media could be detrimental to our investigation and could jeopardise any future court proceedings.
"Please do not speculate and do not name individuals on social media – if you have information which could help us, please, get in touch via 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
