A WOMAN accused of fraudulent activity regarding VAT returns to the value of £160,000 will have her case heard at Swindon Crown Court.
Lady Deborah Anne Devonshire, of Wood Street, Royal Wootton Bassett, faces allegations of fraud by false representation between August 2013 and August 2015 and knowingly concerned in evasion between September 2015 and February 2016 in Malmesbury.
Appearing at Swindon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, the 55-year-old made no indication of a plea and magistrates declined jurisdiction.
The case was adjourned until February 10 at crown court for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
