THE main railway line between Bristol Temple Meads and Bath Spa, which was closed in the London-bound direction, has reopened.
Delays caused by the closure, while emergency work was carried out, are now said to be easing.
At one stage First Great Western was advising passengers for Chippenham to use the Westbury to Swindon shuttle service changing at Trowbridge.
